June Debate | MPs To Debate the Future of Community Pharmacies

APPG Member Peter Dowd MP has scheduled a debate in Westminster Hall on the future of the community pharmacy sector.

The “Future of Community Pharmacy” debate will take place on Tuesday 21st June at 4:30pm and will aim to cover the phenomenal work that community pharmacists have undertaken in the national effort to tackle the COVID-19 Pandemic, along with the significant and often understated role they play as an integral part of the UK health service.

The debate will be attended by MPs from across the House, and we hope to see Members championing the work of their local constituency pharmacies, as well as call on the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care to commit to building up and empowering the pharmacy workforce and sector as we continue to recover from the impacts of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
